The Hillsborough County Bar Foundation Continues Its Grant Support for Youths in Foster Care

During the HCBA’s Annual Bench Bar Conference on October 11th, Bay Area Legal Services was presented the 2023 Outreach Grant Award designated to the L. David Shear Children’s Law Center, which represents children and teens children who have been abused, neglected, and/or abandoned in the overburdened child welfare system.

The $10,000 award was presented to Joan Boles (Incoming CEO) and Heather Tager (Managing Attorney of the Children's Law Center) by Darlene Kelly, the Hillsborough County Bar Foundation's Executive Director. The Hillsborough County Bar Foundation has supported the Children's Law Center with the award in previous years as well.
